Pillar
Migration, Society & Integration
Creating inclusive environments that empower migrant communities socially and economically — building welcoming societies where everyone can contribute.
We focus on understanding the specific challenges migrant communities face and advocating for equitable access to resources, opportunity and support. Through community engagement and mentorship, job training and skill-development workshops, we help people navigate cultural, social and professional transitions — tailored to their specific starting point, not a one-size-fits-all onboarding.
We engage local governments, civil-society organizations and community leaders to co-create policies that promote social cohesion and dismantle barriers to integration, amplifying marginalized voices so inclusive practice reflects the diversity of the society it serves. Our goal is resilient, inclusive societies where everyone has the chance to thrive regardless of background.
Integration isn’t something that happens to you — it’s something a society has to build with you.
Our approach to Migration, Society & Integration
- Facilitate smooth transitions through mentorship, entrepreneurial support, job training and skill-development.
- Co-create integration policy with local governments, civil society and community leaders, not just advise on it after the fact.
- Amplify marginalized voices to keep inclusive practice grounded in lived experience.
- Share research and best practice to strengthen belonging across the sector, not just within our own programmes.
Programmes & how we engage
Zenith, Nexus, Kraft and Springboard — our mentorship and entrepreneurship programmes — sit under Economic Justice, since that’s where their core outcome lives. Many of their participants are migrants, so they’re strongly related to this pillar’s work in practice.
